Which floor is the apartment on? Is it ok for the elderly?
The entrance door of to the apartment is on the ground floor: there is no need for elevators. The actual rooms are on the 1st floor, besause we are on a hill.
There are four steps up to the main door, and six steps down to the door to the apartment. The elderly usually have no problems. These few steps might, however, be challenging for people with disabilties.
Do we have to share the room with someone else or is it all for us?
The room and bathroom is all for you, no sharing. You have a key to the room.
At what time can we check-in and out?
Check-in: from 3PM to 7PM, but please make sure to contact our Guesthouse Manager to know the current check-in time range. If you want to arrive earlier you can may be able to leave your luggage in the service room (please ask for confirmation of availability of this service!).
Check-out: by 10AM. If you want you can leave your luggage in the service room and pick them up later (please ask for confirmation of availability this service!).
Is it possible to check-in after 7PM?
Late check-in has the following prices to be paid cash on arrival:
- form 7PM to midnight €35;
- after midnight: €50.
Important: a check-in assistant will wait for you for one hour in the time period you specified. If you anticipate arriving later than the arranged time, you have to call us or send us a message at least 30 minutes before the arranged to reschedule a new check-in time.
Please understand that a person will wait for you late at night just for your check-in!
How much is the City Tax?
The Rome City Tax is €5/night/person. This needs to be paid at check-in.
Is breakfast included in the price?
No, breakfast is not included, there are coffee shops downstairs, in the same building.
Will you leave us the keys of the house at our arrival?
Yes, you will be completely independent and there is no curfew.
Can we leave the luggage in the guest house after check-out?
Yes, depending on availibility. You can keep the keys and collect your luggage later. It will be kept in the service room (please ask for confirmation of availability of this service!).
Which languages are spoken by the staff?
Italian, English. Some German and Japanese.
What facilities do the rooms have?
The double rooms have cable TV and a minibar. All rooms offer free super-fast wi-fi. The bathrooms have a hair-dryer, hand and shower soap.
Is there air conditioning in the room?
Yes.
Is the room noisy?
The area around the Vatican City, as is the case with the rest of Rome, is lively during working hours; however the rooms have soundproof windows, and the rooms are quiet inside. At night the neighbourhood is very quiet.
Is the neighborhood safe?
Rome is a large city, and the Vatican area attracts tourists and also pickpockets. There is a strong presence of police around the guesthouse but keep your peronal belongings safe in a hidden pouch while strolling around the city, and especially on public transportation!
Is it a non-smoking apartment?
Yes: please do not smoke nor vape in the room.
Is parking available?
The street has public parking (blue stripes), sometimes you will find a spot a few meters from the entrance, other times you may need to park a little further down the street.
Do you have a pickup or shuttle service from and to the airport?
We can recommend a external pickup services that can arrange a transfer to and from the airport. Please note: This is an external service, not run by us, we decline any responsibility regarding this service.
Is there a restaurant in the neighborhood?
Yes, there is a wide range of restaurants right dowstairs, in the same block, and, of course, all around the Vatican City, as we are in one of the world’s top tourist areas. We would recommend to walk just a few minutes to Trastevere, a lovely romantic area bristling with very good and charming restaurants.

A che piano si trova l’appartamento? E’ adatto per gli anziani?
La porta d’ingresso dell’appartamento si trova al piano terra: non c’è bisogno di ascensori. Le camere tuttavia si trovano al primo piano, perché siamo su una collina.
Ci sono quattro gradini fino alla porta principale e sei gradini fino alla porta dell’appartamento. Gli anziani di solito non hanno problemi. Questi pochi passaggi potrebbero, tuttavia, essere impegnativi per le persone con disabilità.
Dobbiamo condividere la stanza con qualcun altro o è tutto per noi?
La camera e il bagno sono tutti per voi, nessuna condivisione. Avrete una chiave della stanza.
A che ora possiamo fare il check-in e il check-out?
Check-in: dalle 15:00 alle 19:00, ma è indispensabile fornirci l’orario esatto: un assistente sarà ad attendervi per un’ora in quella fascia oraria. A seconda della disponibilità potrebbe essere possibile lasciare i bagagli nella stanza di servizio (N.B.: chiedere conferma della disponibilità di questo servizio!). Check-out: entro le ore 10. Se volete potete lasciare i bagagli nella sala di servizio e ritirarli più tardi (chiedete conferma della disponibilità di questo servizio!).
È possibile effettuare il check-in dopo le 19?
Il check-in tardivo ha i seguenti prezzi da pagare in contanti all’arrivo:
- dalle 19 a mezzanotte €35;
- Dopo la mezzanotte: 50 €.
Importante: un assistente al check-in ti aspetterà per un’ora nel periodo di tempo specificato. Se prevedete di arrivare più tardi rispetto all’orario concordato, dovete chiamarci o inviarci un messaggio almeno 30 minuti prima dell’orario concordato per riprogrammare un nuovo orario di check-in.
Vi preghiamo di comprendere che una persona vi aspetterà a tarda notte solo per effettuare il vostro check-in.
Quanto sarà la tasso di soggiorno?
La tassa di soggiorno è di € 5/notte/persona. Deve essere pagata al momento del check-in.
La colazione è inclusa nel prezzo?
No, la colazione non è inclusa, ci sono bar al piano di sotto, e nelle vicinanze della struttura.
Ci lascerete le chiavi di casa al nostro arrivo?
Sì, sarete completamente indipendenti.
Possiamo lasciare i bagagli nella guest house dopo il check-out?
Sì, a seconda della disponibilità. Potete tenere le chiavi e ritirare i bagagli in un secondo momento. I bagagli saranno nella stanza di servizio (si prega di chiedere conferma della disponibilità di questo servizio!). N.B.: la stanza è incustodita.
Quali lingue parla il personale?
Italiano, Inglese. Un po’ di tedesco e giapponese.
Di quali servizi dispongono le camere?
Le camere matrimoniali sono dotate di TV via cavo e minibar. Tutte le camere offrono la connessione wi-fi superveloce gratuita. I bagni sono dotati di asciugacapelli, sapone per le mani e per la doccia.
C’è l’aria condizionata in camera?
Sì.
La stanza è rumorosa?
La zona intorno alla Città del Vaticano, come in tutta Roma del resto, è vivace durante l’orario di lavoro; tuttavia, le camere sono dotate di finestre insonorizzate e le camere sono silenziose all’interno. Di notte il quartiere è molto tranquillo e silenzioso.
Il quartiere è sicuro?
Roma è una grande città e l’area del Vaticano attira turisti e anche borseggiatori. C’è una forte presenza di polizia intorno alla guest house, ma tenete i vostri effetti personali al sicuro in una borsa nascosta mentre passeggiate per la città, e soprattutto sui mezzi pubblici!
È un appartamento per non fumatori?
Sì: si prega di non fumare né svapare in camera.
C’è un parcheggio disponibile?
Lungo la strada troverete parcheggi pubblici (strisce blu), e più su verso il Gianicolo ci sono alcuni posti pubblici gratuiti.
Avete un servizio di trasferimento o navetta da e per l’aeroporto?
Possiamo consigliare un servizio NCC in grado di organizzare un trasferimento da e per l’aeroporto. N.B: Questo è un servizio esterno, non gestito da noi, decliniamo ogni responsabilità in merito a questo servizio.
C’è un ristorante nelle vicinanze?
Sì, ci sono diversi ristoranti, pizzerie, pizza al taglio etc. proprio al piano inferiore, nello stesso isolato e, naturalmente, in tutta la zona intorno alla Città del Vaticano, dato che siamo in una delle zone turistiche più importanti del mondo. E poi a pochi minuti c’è Trastevere, zona romantica piena di ristoranti alcuni molto caratteristici.
